DGLeague is a disc golf league management tool. This page describes what we store, why, and
who can see it.
What we store
- Account info: your email address and display name. If you sign in with a password, we
store a one-way bcrypt hash of it, never the password itself. If your league uses Google/
Firebase sign-in instead, we store the identifier Firebase gives us, not your Google password.
- Optional profile fields: PDGA number, phone number, and payment handles (Venmo, PayPal,
Zelle, CashApp usernames/emails) if you or your league manager add them — these are just
labels for how to pay you, not account numbers or card details; DGLeague never processes an
actual payment through them.
- League data: the leagues you're part of, your role (manager or member), event sign-ups,
scores and results, and the financial ledger entries (buy-ins, payouts, refunds) your league
manager records for events you're in.
- UDisc names: if your league syncs scores from UDisc, we store the UDisc display name(s)
that map to you so future syncs match automatically. We only read publicly viewable UDisc
league/event pages to do this — we never log into your UDisc account or ask for your UDisc
password.
- Technical logs: request logs and, once error monitoring is turned on, crash reports —
email addresses are stripped out before anything is sent to our error-tracking provider
(Sentry). We don't use any third-party analytics or advertising trackers.
How we store your session
When you log in, we issue a session token stored in your browser's local storage (not a
tracking cookie) that expires after 24 hours. We don't use cookies to track you across sites.
Who can see what
- Your league's manager can see your profile info, sign-ups, and financial history within
that league. Managers of other leagues you're not a member of cannot see your data — the
app enforces this per-league.
- Other members of your league can see what the app's normal screens show them (e.g. the
sign-in sheet, results, standings) — the same information they'd see at league night.
- If a league manager makes their league's stats page public, the information on that public
page (results, standings — not your email, phone, or payment handles) is visible to anyone
with the link.
- We don't sell your data, and we don't share it with third parties except the infrastructure
providers that run the app (our hosting/database provider, and our error-monitoring provider
once enabled) — each only processes what's needed to run the service.
- If and when we enable in-app subscription billing, payments will be processed by Stripe —
in that case the billing contact's email and payment details go to Stripe directly (we never
see or store card numbers), and we'll update this page before that happens. Today, billing
is not enabled and nothing is sent to Stripe.
How long we keep it
We keep your data for as long as your account or league exists. A league manager can delete
their league, which removes that league's event, financial, and roster data. You can ask us to
delete your account by contacting support; some financial records may be retained briefly
where a league manager needs them for their own record-keeping of a completed event.
Your choices
You can update your profile info (including removing optional fields) at any time from your
account settings. You can ask us to export or delete your data by contacting support below.
Changes to this policy
We'll update the "last updated" date above if this policy changes in a way that affects what
we collect or how we use it.
