1. What DGLeague is

DGLeague ("we," "us," "the app") is a tool for running disc golf leagues: creating events, managing rosters, collecting sign-ups and payments information, recording scores, calculating payouts, and keeping financial history. A league is created and run by a league manager, who invites or approves the players in that league.

2. Accounts

  • You need an account to use DGLeague as a manager or a full member. Some players ("stub" members) can be added to a league by a manager without ever creating their own login.
  • You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity that happens under your account.
  • You must be old enough, under the laws where you live, to agree to these terms on your own.

3. League managers

  • A league manager controls that league's roster, events, financial ledger, and settings. Disputes between a manager and their league's players (e.g. over payouts) are between them — DGLeague provides the record-keeping tool, not a guarantee of any manager's conduct.
  • Managers are responsible for the accuracy of amounts they enter (buy-ins, payouts, refunds) and for actually handling real-world cash/electronic payments; DGLeague's ledger is a record of what a manager reports, not a payment processor moving money on its own (unless and until we explicitly enable in-app billing for a subscription, which is separate from league funds).

4. Acceptable use

Don't use DGLeague to:

  • misrepresent who you are, or impersonate someone else;
  • enter false financial records with intent to defraud another player;
  • attempt to access another league's data you're not a member of;
  • disrupt the service (e.g. excessive automated requests) or attempt to bypass access controls.

We can suspend or remove an account or league that violates this section.

5. Your content

You (or the league manager, for data entered on your behalf) own the scores, results, and league information entered into DGLeague. You grant us the right to store and display it back to you and to other members of the same league, and — for public league pages you or your manager choose to make public — to display it to the public, as the app's stats pages are designed to do.

6. Service "as is"

DGLeague is provided as-is, without warranty of any kind. We aim for correct scorekeeping and correct math, and we test for it, but we don't guarantee the service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or available at all times. To the extent allowed by law, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including disputes over league funds that a manager tracked using the app.

7. Termination

You can stop using DGLeague at any time. A league manager can delete their league (this removes the league's data per our deletion process — see the Privacy Policy). We can suspend an account for violating section 4, with notice where practical.

8. Changes

We may update these terms as the product changes. We'll note the "last updated" date above; continued use after a change means you accept the update.
